Grievance mechanism
We strive for timely and accurate management of community grievances through proactive and effective communication channels. We receive feedback from over eighty communities, nineteen districts, and six provinces in Apurimac and Cusco, addressing concerns related to our company, contractors, and suppliers.
For a better engagement with the community within our area of influence, there are Permanent Information Offices (OIP) in Abancay, Challhuahuacho, and Tambobamba. Also, additional facilities in Ccapacmarca, Velille, and Espinar provide complementary support. Since May 2022, face-to-face assistance is available at all information offices. Grievances can also be submitted through the Willanawasi website.
We have also updated our Grievance Procedures.
In 2022, we recorded a total of 172 new cases, primarily linked to local supply and damage to private property.
