Las Bambas welcomes the progress on the dialogue process which started on Saturday 23 October; led by Vice President Martin Vizcarra, together with the Minister of Agriculture, José Manuel Hernández; the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Marisol Pérez Tello and the Head of the National Office of Dialogue and Sustainability (ONDS), Rolando Luque.
We would like to highlight the predisposition to dialogue shown by the Regional Governor of Apurimac, Wilber Venegas; the Provincial Mayor of Cotabambas, Odilon Huanuco; District Mayor of Challhuahuacho Antolin Chipani; as well as other local authorities, leaders and communities.
The way of dialogue is the only way in which all parties can express their to find common ground that can enable us to retake spaces to continue building a better future for the Apurimac region.
We call on all communities to join this process of dialogue to achieve social peace.
Las Bambas is committed to continue participating in all spaces of dialogue in the search for consensus, and to continue contributing to the economic and social development of the region.
