Improve existing road network in towns and communities, contributing to their development.
We realised it was difficult for communities to access other towns due to water courses. Provisional bridges, built by residents in an artisanal manner, were in poor conditions. This posed a permanent hazard and caused accidents, especially affecting children and the elderly. Las Bambas decided to finance construction of footbridges with concrete buttress and wooden superstructure to improve pedestrians’ safety, access and transport of products and goods in a safe manner.
