OBJECTIVE

Improve technical and production skills of community craftsmen and potential craftsmen in three areas –textile handcraft, recycled paper and stone carving– by offering training, technical assistance and production modules with appropriate tools and equipment.

DESCRIPTION

We organised craftsmen in nine associations to establish non-conventional commercial ties such as the Fair Trade Network and direct conventional ties through commercial forums in cities such as Lima, Cusco and Challhuahuacho. We also encouraged their participation in social events and fairs to trade and exhibit their products.

Craftsmen have sold their products to various regional, domestic and export markets, and have obtained national and international recognition and awards.
