Challhuahuacho district.
Improve Challhuahuacho ISTP education services by including production activities that generate sources of income, and include comprehensive trout farming activities by placing trout in waterbodies in various areas of the district.
It was difficult for community and family-owned fish farms to obtain fry supplies from far-off regions. As a result, production costs in the area tended to be expensive, limiting fry stocking in lakes, rivers and water bodies in the province.
Through this project, we built an incubation area, fish reproduction ponds, water intake, reservoir and administrative areas. The Challhuahuacho Public Technological Higher Education Institute directly administers these areas. Since 2010, we have bought 10,000 fry per year from this institute for stocking in the Pamputa microbasin, the Challhuahuacho basin and the Pumamarca microbasin.a
