The Las Bambas Mining Project makes major efforts to preserve its employees’ health including the following initiatives:

Daily reports allow accurate monitoring of diseases and responses to the prescribed treatment.

New medical standards allow having a healthier working population and less exposure to diseases.

Medical pass for employees or any person visiting the operation. Employees go through a medical check-up before joining the company and when their pass card expires.

Infrastructure and logistics equipment of the main medical centre of the Fuerabamba camp and ambulances. Four physicians, three nurses and one paramedic with experience in emergency cases provide medical care at the Ferrobamba medical centre and at the medical care centre in the Charcacocha camp.
